Boys & Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Club of Alachua County, Inc., a member of the Boys & Girls Club of America, is a voluntary organization dedicated to promoting leadership, character, health and career development while emphasizing social, cultural, and educational growth.

Our mission is to provide all youth in Alachua County the opportunity to participate in a program designed specifically for them, with a special concern for youth from disadvantaged circumstances.

Children's Home Society of Florida

Children's Home Society of Florida provides child abuse and neglect prevention, intervention, and adoption services.  The organization responds to the unique needs of children and is committed to the fulfillment of every child's right to a stable living environment and the opportunity for healthy family development.

Children's Home Society of Florida provides the following programs: Adoption of Foster Children, Dependency Case Management, In-Home Family Support Services and Family Team Coaching, Family Visitation Centers, Healthy Families, the Junior Leauge of Ocala's Haven House, and READ!

Girls Place, Inc.   

Girls Place of Alachua County is dedicated to helping girls of all backgrounds grow and work together in a climate of freedom and harmony, to help girls find their own identity, develop their potential, and achieve a sense of responsibility to self, family, community, country and world; to help girls of all racial, religious, and economic backgrounds to live and develop creatively in a democratic society in a continuously changing world.
